The former Texas governor has no more paid staffers in New Hampshire as of Wednesday. The last paid staffer, Michael Dennehy, told WMUR reporter John DiStaso that he hadn't been paid since June.
"I remain a steadfast supporter. But I have not talked with, nor seen Gov Perry, since he left NH on Aug 4, nor have I been asked
for my advice from the campaign so it is disingenuous to call myself an advisor or to say Im working for the campaign."
He said that Perry has no plans to visit the Granite State as of now.

(27,315 posts)There are a few of these guys that cannot get about 0 or 1 %. So, what's the point of staying? I guess some billionaires have money to spend. Time for Graham, Perry, Jindal, Gilmore, and Pataki to call it quit. Next will come Christie and Santorum.
Once this is done, they will be able to have some debates with everybody in the same place.

(14,689 posts)One of his last supporters in Iowa left him to go work for Rick Santorum. That very large man in Iowa who said he would go through hell to support Perry already bolted for Trump.
I think Perry will get out. Unlike some of the lesser candidates, he actually thought he could win. Although with the debates the way they are Jindal, Pataki, and the other lower-tier candidates really have no voice in the primary. I could see a mass exodus of candidates following this next debate.
