These Sanders supporters are utterly out of control

Last edited Wed Sep 2, 2015, 10:35 AM - Edit history (2)

Last night, a Sanders supporter in a raccoon costume rummaged through our garbage cans, proving that all Sanders supporters are hateful, nasty, awful, evil people. Even worse, some dabble in the mathematical dark art of extrapolation.

I now realize that I must vote for Hillary, even though I agree with Sanders on everything.

I call upon all of the Earth's decent people to help stop this human blight. Humanity and sensible, adult governance hang in the balance.

Regards,

TWM

I find this quite funny.

And after some of the very real personal attacks from HRC supporters on this site, I could make this a "federal case" and run article after article, like Gawher and Buzzfeed have done... after all I buy ink by the bucket full. I got ethics though.

And I do not support anybody, which makes it even more funny, or tragic. ymmv

Hey, as a reporter I am looking forwards to this growing intra party civil war, and possible unnecessary split of a party that against all historic patterns of the last two generations is expected (at this point) to keep the White House. So if I may get serious for a second. You guys, and by that I mean ALL of you, on all sides, are setting the stage for people to sit out the general. Personally I think the HRC supporters (and it is just two by the way, not all of them) are beyond contempt. Those are the two that used pretty nasty personal attacks on me. Calling me racist and mentally insane is not appreciated.

As I said, as a reporter I don't mind. We live for conflict. As an American, on the other hand, that could be a problem.

But two people here have, and they are HRC supporters. So should I make that into article after article after article as to how ugly HRC supporters are? I am betting in the universe of Sanders supporters, just as in the universe of Clinton supporters, there are a few nasty people. It is a VENN diagram, pretty simple. I read many of the articles posted here on how nasty they are, and how much of a problem they are. Those articles do not pass the smell taste, and only ONE offered a link to something, It was an editorial critical of what happened in Seattle, and it was pretty weak sauce as far as criticism of what happened in Seattle is concerned, coming from a concerned supporter. There were far stronger pieces, critical of both BLM activists, in the African American press.

Hell, local people, some, were seething over it as well... for different reasons mind you.

All I am saying is that this is already worst than 2008, which you admittedly were not here for. I was... and yes, I can see a stronger PUMA movement emerge from this mess. REGARDLESS of who wins the nomination. Hey, I like conflict, makes for good stories, People truly hate to read about speed bumps. Kitties up the tree rescued by firefighters, car crashes and intra party conflict will bring people to a site, truly. Roads and infrastructure, not so much.

This thread is just people having fun at themselves. And by some definitions my birds must be bernie supporters They love free egos.

I'm not really convinced he actually was planning on supporting Bernie. I think he knew how we tend to get a bit heated during "silly season" and just wanted to pick a point in time where he could flame on Bernie supporters en masse. Too many people (on all sides) here imagine this place to be backstage at the West Wing and imagine the arguments they make here to be genius political insight.

Trust me. The Big Nurse knows what is best for us all. The rules are in place for a reason and we must have order above all. So just line up and swallow the third-way medicine she gives you. Trust me. You won't miss thinking for yourself.

I have a problem with a very real civil war that is making this place worst than 2008. I support no one and I was personally attacked by the fans of one campaign. That's ok... nothing like intra party civil wars and people not having a sense of humor.

Pass the popcorn, will ya?

I have takes with you on several occasions when you have poset things about taking about the issues. You have het to get back to me with Bernie's plans on those issues. I have also posted numerous threads about O'Malley's plans on fixing things, and why I have chosen him to support.

So maybe you just intoner to many things on the boards that you don't agree with, could that be it?

And no matter what this thread is pure BS from someone who has a habit of posting meaningless threads and getting hundreds of recs from the same followers who have been anti Obama, anti democratic party, anti Hillary, and anti just about everything, except of course Bernie, but then maybe in time him also, who knows.

Hence the quote drawing a distinction between good humor, and
all this passive aggressive crying for attention (attention I'm
embarrassed to say I've given.)

The idea that all this that I've replied to is equatable to Stewart, Colbert, Etc,
IS actually funny.

Congratulations, you made a funny. Unless you're serious though, in which case,
that's just egotistical.

I have the floor of my house open for construction, so the raccoons have free access to the kitchen. I came home to see one of them sitting on my kitchen table, checking out the snacks. He looked at me as if to say, "I didn't expect you home so soon," before he scuttled under the house. I'm not sure he was a Sanders raccoon, but aren't they all?

DU is one of the leftist hubs on the internet along with other sites.

Authoritarian fascists likely send operatives into these places to try and modify the discussions and viewpoints to their liking.

I feel a decent percentage of status quo handles here are not here for anything other than disruption, disinformation, and right wing propaganda propagation.

Dear honest DUer, please read and analyze the discussions and figure out who you can trust and who is looking to harm you. There are people here that are willing to greatly harm their fellow human for their own self interests.

I have no humor. To me, it is magic, a roller coaster ride, a step outside the humdrum of every day. You could sell it...well, actually, people do...but so far you're giving it away for free. ..so thank you.
