2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI've been standingin line for 2.5 hours to get a ticket to see Prez Obama.
I'm here with a zillion other people most waiting very patiently.
Can you imagine the VIPs (or anyone else) doing this to hear Rmoney?

(331 posts)We checked into a hotel in Maumee, Ohio because we needed to go see relatives. The first thing I asked was if Obama had been here yet? He had been there earlier in the morning. We drove 5 hours and missed him. Evidentally it was pretty crowded. I was still upset. I can remember being in line in Pittsburgh in "08". It was a very cold and frigid day. My daughter and I waited for three hours to get a glimpse of him. We ended up sitting so far away. We could have watched on T.V. and saw more of him. Anyway, things haven't changed. People who supported him the first time are wanting him to succeed. It's kinda like a ball team. When things don't go your way you get mad but, you still support the team the next game. Go President Obama!

(205,161 posts)How frustrating to have waited so long and to have been that close. Of course, I know there's no way he's coming here to NY.
