"Socialist Democrat" Bernie Sanders Draws Crowds in SC

COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX)- Thousands of people showed up to hear democratic presidential candidate Bernie sanders speak in Columbia Friday.

He entered Columbia's Medallion Center to a standing ovation, and announced he will not promote the "billionaire agenda" by forming a Super PAC. Instead, he said, his camp will only accept individual personal donations, which currently average $34.

The self proclaimed "socialist democrat" got the crowed fired up as he discussed racial inequality, women's rights, veteran benefits, reducing student loans, and wage gaps.

(snip)

His camp says between tonight and his recent visit to Greenville, Sanders drew a crowd in South Carolina of over 5,500.

Not bad for South Carolina; a conservative state, I suspect the crowds will grow even larger on his next visit.

5,500 is much smaller than his crowds in more populous, more liberal states, but it sure ain't shabby for a red state in the South.

Go, Bernie!

He is a democratic socialist and that does not mean he is in the words of republicans just promising free stuff. Their own greed makes these advisers to Hillary and others think that they can compete by promising free stuff. Actually the only thing Bernie is promising is a revolution to remove our billionaire overlords from government and to let the people themselves control the allocation of tax dollars and the policies of our government.
Republicans cannot see that this free stuff as they see it is a symbol of progress and dignity for our people. This free stuff is just a view of what can be if the people want it and the billionaires get out of the way.
Bernie like Martin Luther King Jr. was doing before they killed him for it was striving to unite working people and the poor against their rich master class who control government. I used the word master intentionally because so many of our ancestors were slaves or indentured servants all under rich masters in this country and we continue under wage slavery today. We working people all have a stake in this fight and we can throw out the billionaire rulers from our government.
