Massive crowds surrounded the every move of Sen. Bernie Sanders on Saturday afternoon at the Iowa State Fair. From the time he entered Gate 11 to the time he left it, he was constantly chaperoned by cameras, reporters, handlers and supporters.
But earlier in the day he went largely unnoticed, finding a few minutes of escape from the limelight in the unlikeliest of places: the middle of his own campaign rally.
