But that would not be true as the loudest trashed PBO every single day of the week. Usually for nothing, as if he was theirs to order around and abuse on every single thing under the Sun.

He's been treated here as less than smart or naive, when I believe the collective IQ of DU is less than he has in one finger; or as if he's a coward and an ass-kisser or a salesman for bad actors; well, I'll stop, I'm sure you've seen those bad posts made here.

He's been treated as if he had no right to his own opinion. Which is a good thing he has his own opinion. His life experience gave him knowledge of multiple races and religions. It is and was, a real plus and is part of his maturity, not his weakness. I've seen too many call for the BushCo 'balls' masculinity they wanted him to act like!

He's a good man and takes his role seriously, to protect those who like or hate him and their rights. He has shown all people respect. He knows lives are at stake, some only know what their egos demand.

Nothing would have changed if he had stomped his feet and had a temper tantrum. He gets the point - the end game - of what he's doing. When it does turn out well, he gets as much credit here as he would at Faux Noise.

It's not 'criticism.' It's disdain and distrust from those looking for him to fail, always, or having failed at their own special test. Not the needs of over 300M people.

It's made what could have been a productive website for change into IDK WTF... For a POC this place must be agonizing.

I've recieved mail out of the blue by POC who no longer post here, because of my defense of him. They could not take it anymore. They no longer post and I can't blame them.

No one has the right to tell another how they should feel. Telling a person to lie about themselves is as arrogant as it gets. Okay, sorry, I went off topic. Had to vent.

Clearly he is not racist. People have gone out of their way on both sides to be overly dramatic in their points of view. They twist language and snipe at each other. I asked a blunt question. It's a mechanism to impact the public discourse into realizing that, regardless of the side of the issue they're on, taking it to extremes is rarely, if ever, a productive place to go.
