Can you believe these racist bumper stickers?

The above bumper stickers has apparently gone viral on Facebook and other social media, according to Gene Demby at Huffington Post. It's just one of several horribly racist bumper stickers available from a company called Stumpy's Stickers.

A friend sent me a copy of the above image, along with a warning to watch every image we see between now and November. The stuff we saw in 2008 - and since - was racist; this is much more blatantly racist!

The Republicans have nothing to run on, so they're resorting to Ku Klux Klan tactics.

as someone else said, nothing these people do any more shocks me. The last shock I remember was that asshole yelling "You lie" during Obama's first SOTU address. I watched it live, and it was quite jarring for me. I have watched countless SOTUs and had never seen anything like that. Since then, that party just keeps digging deeper and deeper. But, back to the bumper sticker- if you cornered them on it, they would claim they don't see the racism in it. I mean, come on, re-nig is a word Of course, telling them it is spelled "renege" is pointless.

It's funny how the media sugar coats this issue. The headlines of the so-called polls claim that Obama has a problem with certain whites in the south. In my neck of the woods, all the racist bumper stickers are on vehicles with a confederate flag. These are the descendents of the same racist clowns that wanted to split the country in half so that they could have a few slaves. These very same idiots where willing to have a dingbat like Sarah Palin as vice president. Obamba doesn't have a problem with white people in the south. The white people in the south cant get over the fact that there is a black man in the White House. They are going to be really pissed when there is a Latin American sitting there. Hopefully I will still be alive to see this too.

There are reasons why the south has historically been the poorest region of the US. The landed gentry who ruled the feudalist, ante-bellum south had free labor to do most of the work, so they had little incentive to hire anyone at wages, or to pay decent wages when they did.

Don't get me wrong: Black people suffered much more from slavery than any whites; the point is everyone in the south, with the exception of the favored few, suffered from slavery!

As for why lower-class whites are more racist, it's simple. People who are held down need someone to look down on!

I shall live to see that day, but it grows closer.

The best boss I ever had, hands down, was a gay man. I thus have absolutely no doubt that gays and lesbians will execute the office of President as well as their hetero brothers and sisters.

broken off for my bumpersticker homage to Marvin Gaye: "War is Not the Answer" (from "What's Goin' On&quot . So I can't endorse the thought, although I know where it's coming from.

it's the VOTES that count. And the Obamas have put more class into the White House than any President in my lifetime because they've risen above the vitriol and racism.
