Newt's call for Seven 3 hour debates with the President?
Would you watch the whole 3 hours? Why not 12 hour debates?

4. I can't believe Newt thought wife#3 was more "First Lady"-like
|
Wife #1 and #2 at least look human and the first wife, in particular looks quite friendly and approachable. Callista? She looks like a plastic animatron.

9. Newt should have stayed with Wife #1. She looks most like a FLOTUS. Callista is just scary.

3. Unlike Gringrich Obama has a job. I think 90 mins is enough.

And at least another half-hour to invoke the name "Saul Alinsky."

10. Newt is thinking Lincoln-Douglas. He thinks he is Lincoln, of course.

13. Except that he is much shorter than Obama.
|
I wonder if he will also demand some kind of special lectern to stand behind that will make him look taller?
I'd prefer to see them just standing next to each other - tall, thin Obama next to short, dumpy Gingrich. And I think Obama can take him in a debate. Newt's Achilles heel is that he thinks he's smarter than everybody else - that kind of arrogance is fatal. |

14. He can stand on something but that won't help hide his flapping jowls. And yes, Obama has way more
|
poise than Newt, does not get rattled as easily, and just has more class. No special lectern, friendly crowd, or elevator shoes is going to change that.

11. Seven would be too many but making them longer would be ok.
|
I would pretty much get rid of the moderators also. They ask stupid questions and don't let the candidates fully explain their positions.
