Kansas is going down? GOP leadership.......

It's just getting worse and worse with each day that passes. Sam Brownback knows he's driven the state budget into the ground, and now he's begging TeaPublicans in his legislature to please, please fix it for him.

No worries on the school cuts though, because Brownback signed the legislation to defund the Kansas Supreme Court if they don't vote his way on the school legislation.

Also, no worries on voter fraud either, because Brownback signed legislation giving race-baiting Kris Kobach prosecutorial power to go after registered voters if he suspects fraud.

It's a totalitarian's paradise, that place where Charles Koch lives and conducts business. Gee, I wonder why.

All of it directed squarely at the poor and middle-class.

The rich still have their massive tax cuts.

a reversal of the tax cuts (for the wealthy) that caused the budgetary mess, in the first place.

Or, if there IS a "population exodus" ... it will measured in the 10s.

8. Reversal of the tax cuts for the wealthy is off the table.

The tax increases are on the lower and middle class. Remember this is a FIRE Engine RED state.
10's of thousands you mean, correct? There is already an employment problem in Kansas. Businesses have not set up shop there, per the tax cuts as they said they would happen.

After the mass exodus, the tax increase won't mean shit, because they'll have way less people. DUH. Simple math.

Thus are the lessons when putting the GOP in charge. I only hope the rest of the country sees this and comes up with the same conclusion.

Moral to the story: Never put a GOP candidate in charge, ever again.
