The refreshing thing about Bernie. He has a plan and explanation for every issue no matter how large or small. Many candidates do not.

(12,504 posts)I highly doubt he'll be able to implement very much of anything...'tis the way of Congress and the Senate.

(12,504 posts)one can make the mose detailed plans on the planet...many nut cases do those too. Doesn't mean one iota when it comes to implementation

(3,425 posts)The only thing I've been able to find is "Bernie on the issues" which is a 12 point sketch of some major bullet points.
I haven't seen even a webpage with issues and programmes, etc.
How will people (not DUers or policy wonks, but regular people) know anything about Bernie unless he gets his message out?

(20,135 posts)Which compromises will be acceptable?
What happens if Republicans hold emergency unemployment benefits hostage and will only give in if President Sanders agrees to extend tax cuts for the rich? Keep in mind that if he refuses to budge, those unemployment benefits expire for millions who may starve or be thrown into the streets. If he gives in, he saves unemployment benefits but breaks a long-held position and campaign promise.
These are choices he will face. How will he handle them?

(20,135 posts)However, many people here view compromise as a four-letter word. Unfortunately I expect Sanders to be thrown under the bus on DU as soon as he does so -- if elected.
