So, basically the Democrats are 'in control' of the House and Senate?

Boner and Yertle the Turtle both have just enough batshit teapartiers that anything useful that the "sane" (and I use that word loosely) GOP want's to get passed HAS to HAVE some Democrats to vote with them.

So the Dems control things?

approximate count of bodies.

Senate: Democratics 46, Republicans 44, KochFox 10

House: Democratics 186, Republicans 180, AilesKoch 55

Nothing gets done without an end run around the fascists in the house.

So we have the plurality, no one has a majority.

That is not, however, what Democrats would have you believe during the first two years of the Bush era, when they made no effort to prevent any legislation. They did nothing other than sit back and wring their hands about how unfair the Republican were being by not allowing them to participate.
