(11 posts)For everyone who disagrees with your privileged polices, because, after all they are weak and have a social concern for others (like being able to see a doctor and with an insurance card) that just upsets the group entitlement consciousness.

(6,582 posts)Deny Americans medical coverage (fighting the ACA & refusing to expand Medicaid - 13,000 Americans dead due to this in one year, voting down resources for the VA - until enough people complained & they passed it the second time, how many vets died waiting for treatment?); deny Americans human & Constitutional rights (voting restrictions, marriage restrictions, abortion restrictions); push Americans into poverty by running government of the rich, by the rich, for the rich (fighting the minimum wage, fighting unions, "right to work" initiatives - aka "right to work harder for less money" ; kill more Americans with relaxed air pollution controls (remember GW Bush's "Clear Skies" initiative? it released 42 million tons more air pollution - poisonous gases - than EPA recommendations ... while Bush criticized Saddam Hussein because he "gassed his own people" ... I guess if big business makes more profit Republicans think it's okay to gas your own people on a massive scale ... I recall estimates of around 60,000 Americans killed over 8 years as a result of that) ...
I haven't even mentioned the Iraq invasion ... dead & wounded American troops ... $2-$3 trillion wasted from our treasury ... all for Republican hubris, stupidity, & lies. Kill more Americans by denying climate change (in 2003 52,000 people died - yes 52,000 - in a heat wave that hit Europe ... it will happen in American, it's just a matter of time).
I'm certain there are many more examples I'm missing, but it's truly surprising (& sad) how many Republican policies, when carried out to their conclusion, result in thousands of dead Americans. At times I've wondered if the Republican party gets funding from Al Qaeda & other terrorist organizations ... they've certainly killed far more Americans than Al Qaeda, & probably far more than all terrorist organizations combined.
