The Forces Behind America's Economic Destruction:

We are facing a financial disaster that is as bad as any that have existed in history. Just consider
the following few facts:

1. 50 million Americans are living below the poverty line -- 17 million of them are children.

2. 47 million citizens rely on food stamps.

3. The 2008 economic collapse cost over $20 trillion.

4. Millions lost their homes, jobs, and millions are children going hungry.

5. In US and other developed countries suicide rates skyrocketed because of the financial stress
and the disruption of families.

6. The rate of employment is officially 7.5 percent. Tyler Cowen of George Mason University thinks
it may be as high as 41%, since 33% of Americans are not working and have given up looking for
jobs. This group is categorically removed from Government statistics.

In spite of the incredible statistics above, one group stands out: THE GLOBAL ELITE. They have
more than $32 trillion stashed in offshore banks around the world. Their total wealth is larger
than the US GDP and the national debt combined! And their wealth is growing by the day.

What are corporations trying to do, destroy our nation altogether? Then perhaps employ a weakened
starving people, who will be all too eager to do exactly as they are told, just to be able to receive the
scraps that fall from their masters' tables? This used to happen in certain countries during the worst
days of the Middle Ages, some 600 or 700 years ago.

How much longer, do you think, things can go on in this way?

1. When the 99% have nothing....

Who's going to buy the crap corporations are selling?

2. I think the 1% is smart enough to try to keep the 99% alive and having just enough energy to do

as they are told, but not much more for anything else. At some point they will fail, and the probability
of a revolution is high. This has happened so often in the past. History shows that dynasties
have come and gone. Only now, with 7 billion on this planet of ours.....I'd hate to think of the
carnage.

We humans are more intelligent than we were millennia ago. We're smart enough to build the atom
bomb, but we aren't any wiser. We're repeating the same old mistakes over and over and over......
Will it be ad infinitum?

3. I can think of only one way to fight back: Do our damnedest to get out those Democrats who don't

vote during off-year elections, and have them vote en masse this November. We've really got
to work on this. Even the money of people like the Koch brothers can't win against the supremacy
of the votes themselves. We've got to try to win not just the Senate, but both Houses!

There are more people who vote Democratic than Republican. We should be able to stop the
Right-Wingers.

Are there any other ideas?
