Two that are top most for me right now, Wendy Davis and Alison Grimes.

... Strengthening and expanding Social Security
and a host of other progressive policies. All I hear is "not the Republican".

(10,893 posts)and so did my family. More people on our side of the aisle are just going to have to learn the value of midterm elections. They should start reading up on basic civics and our checks-and-balances system. The Democrats can go out there, campaign, and advocate all the correct policies, but it is ultimately the civic responsibility of everyone as Americans (and as people who have the power to shape the government) to become more engaged.

However, I rarely have to stand in line, rarely see more than 4 folks at any polling spot............WHERE ARE WE?
