Sen Schumer set a nice trap to the Republicans about immigratin reform

In one of the Sunday shows, Meet the Press, I think. OK, he says, they don't trust Obama to enforce the law. So let's pass a law and make its starting date in 2017, after Obama leaves office.

Personally, I think it is offensive to the president but, still, will be interesting how they will react, if at all.

No matter how much Bush was incompetent, lied, and acted beyond his constitutional authority, Republicans in Congress just kept right on passing laws for him to enforce, which he supposedly did- though only to the extent that his signing statements said that they didn't interfere with his authority as "commander-in-chief".
