Vote on Hagel scheduled for 5pm.
The Republicans have been following the same strategy, of asking for info not required of
other nominees for Sec of Defense, and when that info was not provided by Hagle, strongly
implying there was some evil hiding (albeit they have no evidence).
Democratic Chairman said their comments would be recorded but committee approved rules
are to be applied to every nominee the same way, if they want something different, they need
to change the rules in the committee for that, and not apply it retroactively.

6. Where are you guys finding the vote? I'm not seeing it on either of my two CSPAN channels,
but there IS a scroll on the bottom that "Senate Armed Service Cmte. Approves Hagel Nomination" ---
is that a precursor to the REAL vote?
Can't they do anything in a streamlined fashion?

9. Link to C Span
It says the floor vote will be on Wednesday. Could that be tomorrow?
"Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said he will bring up the Hagel nomination for a floor vote on Wednesday if the committee approves the nominee."
