IMPORTANT: PA Dems alone cannot stop the rigging of its state's electoral college votes.
In Pennsylvania, the filibuster in the State Senate is virtually non-existent as debate can be ended by a simple majority vote. All that's required is at least four members to sponsor the motion to end the debate.
This means the Republican-controlled legislature as the power to do whatever it wants just so long as they keep their own caucus members in line. Assuming they pass this crap, even if we win back the governorship in Pennsylvania next year, it's highly unlikely we'll be able to win back BOTH houses of the legislature since they've successfully redrawn the districts to make sure that rural conservatives are totally overrepresented.
I'm not sure what options we have at this point to prevent this bull crap from becoming law.
