4. That translates to 55% of the vote come election time

The gop really has to dope up those voting machines to even make this thing not a landslide for President Obama

8. Great news.....

I think it's still early though.....I'm just saying, I'm NOT getting to excited. If these numbers hold up or go up closer to November then I'll be extremely happy, now, just cautiously optimistic.

9. Yes, it's still early, but Romney and the other Repubs. have been attacking Obama over gas prices,

his "hot mic" comment, etc.

17. Here in Chicago I've notice local news ripping him to shreds on the job numbers.

I'm afraid to think about what the local news in the red states is like

25. I live in Fl, and I consider it a purple state

But, I've noticed that the local news only discusses about Obama win his poll numbers are down. They wouldn't report on this poll in a million years. I live in Duval county, northern FL, the further south you go in FL the bluer (if thats a word) it gets.

21. With gas at $4 a gallon?!

WTF!

He'd be at 75% if gas prices weren't being inflated by speculators.

22. Gallup has given Obama worse numbers than most other polling outfits all year.

For him to reach majority approval in their numbers is really really great for him.

23. I know! I check their site every day, and many times, (R)asmussen had Obama at a higher

approval number than Gallup, so this IS great for Obama.

24. Drudge in panic

trying to discredit it facetiously as a 'Gallup miracle,' and running with a bunch of cherry-picked gloom-and-doom news.

The GOP thought they had 2012 locked up, and now they can't accept that it's slipping away faster than then they can deal with it.
