Media completely missed a lovely moment - we watched it live

We were watching this live -- and the media (we were watching CNN at that moment) were talking to each other, yet, we watched the TV and saw the moment, we read the President's lips. It was a lovely moment -- yet the media missed it.

Yet, they started replaying it over and over and over and over because they realized it was a lovely moment. Sometimes, if they would only shut up and listen, it would be so much better..

Here is the moment, in case you didn't see it --

1. Did you notice photographer Sosa taking the picture of President Obama looking out?

He came rushing out behind Obama and probably took quite a few shots of it. I can't wait to see it. It'll be a photo from behind the President showing what he was looking at. It might be one for the history books.

5. Had to laugh and say

"get outta the way, Joe!" when Biden walked up and basically blocked some of Sosa's shots. I'm sure Sosa had to do some manuevering to get more pictures. Gotta love our Joe! But, it was a touching moment ... and you're right, completely missed by the media as it happened. (Malia realized what Dad was doing and looked back as well).

2. You call it a lovely moment, and I agree,

but it is also a very powerful moment for the President. It reaffirms for him that he shall not pass this way again and that this is his moment in the sun. He must make the best use of his time and the best use of us. I welcome his power.

4. He'll see it again...

At Hillary's inauguration! Or Joe's...

If the President has a successful second term, and the Republican continue their program of self-immolation, there are going to be lots of Democratic Presidents in our future.

6. But the crowd won't be there for him then. This is his last time garnering an inauguration crowd.

And yes, he will be up there again to celebrate with the next Dem president!

8. I have feeling he's never going to have a problem drawing a crowd...

Hell, this was a crowd in Germany....

10. Definitely.

And he will always deserve it. But it will never be 1 million of his fellow countrymen again, cheering him on for being (re-)elected their President and leader of the free world.

BTW, nice pic. When was that?

11. Summer of 2008

And those were 200,000 adoring Germans.

Compare that to Romney's Excellent European Vacation this past summer.

3. I found that to be an incredibly poignant moment, and yes, it would have been nice ...

if the talking heads would have just shut up and let the moment speak for itself.

9. Thank you, Justice.. President Obama living in the moment..

"I want to take a look, one more time," he said.

"I'm not going to see this again," he said.
