1. I'm afraid it will just come down to appointing 1 justice

to replace the best justice of them all, Ms. Ginsburg.
don't expect any others at all really, at least the RW turds to step down, unfortunately.
still worth it to protect that one seat though!!

7. There will be at least 2 appointments.

With any luck there might be up to 4 which will then mean replacing at least 1 from the other side.

Regardless, we need to make sure the other side doesn't nullify any appointments. And to prevent that from happening we need to make sure we win in 2016. That would put Scalia and Kennedy at 80 and Breyer at 78 at the beginning of a new President's term.

Out of 45 since the 1900's there have been only 8 that stayed on past 80. Only 1 of them died while on the bench.

4. I'm hoping Scalia will be next

I want to see the pukes shit their pants when Obama gets to nominate his replacement.

Oh, I keed, I keed. And, yes, I'm Italian myself, so I can make fun of the weird way some New jersey based Italians say the word capicola.

8. I see 1 maybe 2

But, if we win the White House in 16' this court will be transformed, it will end up being 6-3 in favor of Liberals.
