1. What's on MSNBC? Reruns of Lockup?

I don't get this at all.

2. say what you will about their political slant, CNN is still hands down best staffed of cable nets

They actually put money and resources into their reporting, unlike the others who go the cheap route of all talking heads

4. Didn't Jon Stewart just say they had closed down their

overseas investigative bureaus? I'm guessing the inauguration is the ONLY thing they can do.

3. MSNBC is lazy. It shouldn't be hard to cover this inauguration. At least do SOME related...

programming!! Hell, even the History Channel is airing its rerun of "The Presidents".

8. The new series they're doing is much better.

It acknowledges that Reagan's economic policies created a recession--not many historians have had the cojones to do that.

5. Sadly, you're right. And it's great to see these speeches by the Bidens and now the Obamas. They

all seem to be in a great mood, too. They're having fun.

10. If they didn't have that idiot airhead Erin Burnett it would be better. Blitzer also makes

it hard to take. Agree actual coverage was better than MSNBC.
