...Thanks DI! I hadn't seen it yet. His arms crossed says "getting shit done", his smile is to all Americans, but especially to all Americans who reelected him. His whole face exudes joy.
That right there truly is History. I'm so proud of him!

over the last two days. The lighting is too top-down, casting a shadow below her lovely cheekbones, which creates a suggestion of a beard. She needs some soft up-lighting, IMO, to keep the color consistent all over her face.

I like her new hairstyle! She looks great with the bangs and soft framing around her face.

And the President's smile can't be beat!

Much like Clinton when he left office. Clinton's hair went completely white.

And his face has really stood up to the tolls of his office. Four years of that and I doubt I'd even be able to smile, but his is tremendously natural and unconquerable.

He looks older and wiser, rather than tired and worn down.

for the rest of my life.

Two years ago, at the VA in Long Beach, Ca. a 'routine' knee replacement requiring a 4-day stay turned into a nightmare. He got hospital pneumonia the next morning and was immediately taken to critical care and for nine days I watched my fabulous husband of 32 years fight for his life.

23 days after that, I took him home. Each day of that month as I entered and left the main tower, that portrait helped me. I can't put into words the comfort it gave me. Strength and resolve maybe.

The new portrait reflects how I feel now. It's wonderful.
