I hope we can nip this in the bud?,AP Interview: George P. Bush weighing run in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) George Prescott Bush is gearing up to run for a little-known but powerful office in a state where his family already is a political dynasty and where his Hispanic roots could help extend a stranglehold on power Republicans have enjoyed for two decades.

1. You can, by voting for Hillary45 over Jeb in 2016 and Chelsea47 over GPB in 2032.

and by making sure Julian Castro turns Texas Blue in 2014 and then keeps it in 2018 and 2022 and 2026 Governor race.

3. Third Way's time is over.

2016 is for an actual Democrat, perhaps Senator Warren.

5. yawn. we been through this before. Do you want to win or be Dukakissed?

Warren is in the perfect job now. Why would you want someone to replace her who won't have the gravitas to do THAT job?
And she won't run if Hillary does.
She has more power in the Senate, especially now that she will be senior senator.
In fact, she could at some point be majority leader

but for her to run now would be 3 years of running, and not doing the job we all want her to do.

again, she won't run against Hillary. In fact, most people won't.

the object is winning.
and getting the court to 8 to 1 or 9 to 0

11. you can win or you can whine when the wrong candidate gets Dukakissed(nice guy that he is)

sometimes I think some people would rather whine than win

Anyone can beat Rubio or Rand or Ryan or other lesser lights

However, it takes a Clinton to beat a Bush or a Christie

Just like it took an Obama to beat a Clinton, however
Hillary would have beaten McCain, maybe by not as much in 2008, but she would have easily won

12. Being a Bay Stater... I know Dukakis. And I know Warren.

While both are actual Democrats - which Americans tried to elect in 2008, and still yearn for - only one is fine with leaving blood and teeth on the floor.

Different people.

And anyway, Hillary with all of her entourage got taken out by a newly-minted Senator, she'll be even weaker should she run in 2016.

13. this isn't 2008. Hillary has a much bigger resume, and will get the Obama core base.

you are forgetting that the minorities that make up the democratic party like Hillary
women like Hillary

Hillary didn't think Obama would run. She won't make that mistake again this time
And this time the party and the president will back here

because through hard work and loyalty she earned it
(and I was NOT a fan in 2008. I am now).

On most issues, Obama and Hillary are on the same wavelength
and you keep forgetting, it was Obama that got Warren her job directly and indirectly.
He picked her for his cabinet, he fought for her, when she couldn't get a vote, it opened the door to senate and she is a team player.

Long as Hillary is in the race, no one else will be.(and Biden most likely will run to stop others from gaining space.

Hillary will win in that she will be the only female in a sea of males(another reason both would not run at the same time).
(now if for some reason Hillary don't run, Warren could possibly win, but in running, Warren will be giving up the opportunity to actually achieve anything in the Senate as she will be spending most of hte 3 years running, which is not like her personality is it?

imho

As for Grayson? That is ludacrist.
Would rather Jerry Brown if that is the case

BTW-if Hillary doesn't run, don't repeat don't discount Bloomberg as a Democrat running.Especially on the gun issue.
(and you wouldn't in a zillion years admit it, but he is a liberal democrat...yes, he is).

That picture of Hillary yesterday posted by someone on this board, showed how she will win.
She was in command of that entire table, think it was 15 guys and Hillary.
That image said it all.

2. P shares his uncle's love of getting arrested as a youth

From the Smoking Gun:
"P" was involved in a troubling 1994 incident described in this Metro-Dade Police Department report. On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He proceeded to break into the house via the woman's bedroom window, and then began arguing with his ex's father. Bush, then a Rice University student, soon fled the scene. But he returned 20 minutes later to drive his Ford Explorer across the home's front lawn, leaving wide swaths of burned grass in his wake. Young Bush avoided arrest when the victims declined to press charges.

15. The Bushies always seem to avoid having to face the consequences of their actions

I guess that that's why they are able to keep coming around running for public office.
