2014 MN US Senate Election- Coleman-R not running.

First Eric Paulsen-R announced that he is not running, Then Pawlenty-R announced he is not running, Now Coleman-R has announced he is not running against Franken-D
Bachmann-R and Kline-R are the two top tier Republican challengers left but they are likely to lose by a double digit margin.

5. Bachmann barely held onto her House seat

So considering the fact she isn't even well-liked in a conservative district of Minnesota, I very much doubt whether she can win state-wide.

7. But if she runs unopposed on the republican ticket, she's in

Then we get comedy gold during the campaign. I guarantee it!

10. Oh I agree

That would be a gift. Less money to spend on that seat and more to spend on others.

11. I don't think Bachmann is going to run

I think even she realizes that voters already sent her a message in November that they didn't like her wasting months of her time running for President. Not sure if they would be happy if she turns around and tries to run for Senate after nearly losing on November 6.
