I've known people like this. They figure if they screw everybody else they JUST MIGHT be able to break-even with this deal.

It should get a photo of him, put it together with his note, and have them posted in the window of every restaurant in town with the note "has anyone seen this rooten egg? Please contact The Department of Sanitation. Caution, do not approach on your own, as there is a danger of contamination."

and he has to cut back because his taxes increased (only on the income beyond $400,000 Fed, not sure about the Prop 30 increase in CA although it is apparently based on income over $250,000) by 4 or 5%? What an ass. My guess is that this idiot never tipped to begin with.

I'd smile and say I completely understand and agree and respect him and wish more people had the courage of their convictions...blah, blah, blah...then....

When he comes back again I'd insist on taking his table....and I'd spit in his meal. Yes, childish...but would make me feel better.

He just needed an excuse to be a crappy tipper.

Tax rates today really ain't shit compared to how they were in the 50s. Republicans are in no position to complain about high taxes.

What a passive aggressive loser this guy is - a perfect repuke.

Does this shortsighted moron think that withholding tips is all of the sudden going to cause the working class to want to repeal prop 30? God, what an idiot.

Somebody might do somebody might do something bad to his food, like drop it on the floor and pick up or even worse. He wasn't going to leave a tip anyway, he just decided to blame the government for it. If you can afford to eat out, you can afford a gratuity.

shouldn't be going out to eat ANYWHERE if he really feels he can't afford to pay a tip. I'm sure he ran the wait-staff around as if they were his personal servants all the while stuffing his piggish pie hole. What a nasty piece of work, and NO, I am NOT surprised this asshole is a Republican.
