Alan Dershowitz says he will testify against Hagel

The guy who helped O.J. get away with murder goes to Breitbart's goons for an interview and to bash the president's pick:
--
But this is not a liberal-conservative split or a Democrat-Republican split. Nor is it about whether Hagel used the term "Israel lobby" or "Jewish lobby," for me. It's all about Iran. And I think that's a serious policy issue.
And I have been approached to testify, possibly, about it. And if asked, I will testify against Hagel's nomination--on the issue of Iran.

(I'm not giving them a link, BTW)

Oh, and remember when Dershowitz said Media Matters would be the single biggest factor in costing Obama re-election?
That was hilarious.

I use to admire him. bought his books...was mesmorized by every argument he presented as I thought it was insightful wisdom.

That was back then....

Don't know why he lost his center.

I'm soooo disappointed.

16. He used to write interesting books.

That I read when I was in law school.
Specifically, "The Best Defense".

He has slipped so far.

5. he's disgusting

his twisted advocacy for torture immediately after 9/11 paved the way for Abu Ghraib.
I will never forget listening to that scum on evening news, calmly discussing the many benefits of torture, while millions of Americans were having dinner. He gave it an acceptance, an evil banality.

15. Yes.

I have been thinking about it all day. The position is for Secretary of Defense for... wait for it... The United States. You would think it would be a priority for him to have OUR defense as his top interest.

That being said I understand how Middle East stability is important as a function of US security. But this has been ridiculous so far.

13. Why the Hell would Dershowitz be asked to testify regarding a cabinet nomination?

Someone's a little full of himself.

18. Amen

When republicans ask me - election after election - why Jews continue to vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. I tell them we're smart enough to know the Christian right's love for Israel in no way extends to the Jews.
