It's official-7 1/2 weeks after the election, Obama officially has 51% of the popular vote!

51.06% to be exact, to Romney's 47.21%, with 5 million votes separating them:

1. Bravo. Wish we could have another Encore in 2016 and 2020.Overturn the 22nd. amendment

I wish he could run for a third term and fourth term like FDR did.

And Mitt got 47%. Such delicious irony.

President Obama is one of only six presidents to win 51% twice. Exclusive company.

And I do hope in 2018 he is named to the US Supreme Court.(like Taft did)

2. I would love that, too, but I doubt he and his family would love it. Judging by how fast his hair

has been graying, I bet 8 years of being the most powerful man on earth is enough.

3. Not going to happen, of course

but I do like reading the hysteria on the part of teabaggers who think he's plotting to do that. I think he'll be happy to call it an eight years when it's up. We just have to find another Dem who can win presidential elections. There'll be some good ones, I'm sure.

4. Slowly but surely, this country will move left

Patience is the key. We won't be anywhere close to where we need to be in my lifetime, but we'll get there.
