Do you think the GOP will still vote Noooo if we go over the fiscal cliff?
Will the GOP vote no to a middle class tax cut if we go over the fiscal cliff?

2. That might be the one thing President Obama is so afraid of......
|
The crazy GOP might not be able to put bills together to correct any economic damage the fiscal cliff may cause.

4. No damage by fiscal cliff (FC)...overall
|
The FC cuts military spending which we can not afford. The FC is the only
mechanism which will actually reduce spending on borrowed money. That is great news for younger folks. |

13. Pain is inevitable after bouts of overspending and under taxing

We are spending more to service the national debt than on education. If interest rates go higher from near zero now, that cost will multiply.

tax cuts hostage. We will all pay more taxes in 2013. I am preparing for that. |

7. who exactly gets to decide where the military cuts go?
|
I hope that certain bases in certain states are already on the close list, and that those bases are in certain districts. That will be interesting. Vote for Tea Me and lose your job for sure.

9. I think the longer this goes on, the harder time they are going to have voting no
|
I'd bet some of the R's come from moderate districts that will put pressure on them. Depending on the bill, who's House Speaker (will Boner be overthrown), and how many of the Ds support it will make a difference.

and I am still not sure that the President won't offer a bad deal that Boehner can put on the floor that the democrats will carry with 25 or so Rs, then it will depend on Boehner.
IF he has the courage to put a straight bill out there that restores the rates for the lower 98%, it would get the dems and enough Rs. |

So they will vote no. |

|
They will do anything and everything to make President Obama look bad and anything to blame democrats for bad economy, lack of jobs, etc…
Yes they hate America that much. The GOP and its supporters can no longer be dealt with in a civilized manner, they can't even be reasoned with anymore. |
