1. Probably could, but won't. Romney lost Massachusetts, Obama won the state :) n/t

2. Sure. But I doubt he will, or that he'd win if he did.
|
I think Mittens' political career is over; he'll probably just stay in CA and ride up and down in his car elevator and count his money.

3. Well I thought I never wanted to see Mittens again.
|
I was wrong. I think this is a great idea. But, my guess if Brown is in the race, Mittens would lose to him and never make it on the ballot. However, by some miracle Mittens did make it on the ballot he would lose in a landslide.

4. Sure, he could. But he won't
|
I think he's ready to be done with politics. Besides, why would he risk further humiliation by not only losing the presidency but then going on to lose a Senate seat, and probably lose even the nomination?

5. Yes he could, but he'd be creamed if he did run
|
Brown outpaced Romney by something like 18 points. And Romney forever has the taint of the national republican party in Massachusetts, especially a few months after the presidential election.

6. As other's have said yes he could
|
But he just got creamed in his own home state. He's be better off running from one of his other home states. Orin Hatch just was reelected to another 6 year term and he'd be in his mid 80s in 2018. He could primary Lee in 2016. There's no way he'd have a shot in CA even after Feinstein or Boxer retire.
I'd bet he'll stay in the private sector now. |

8. State citizens should demand ponies for all.

doubt the Koch gang would squander another billion on the loser. You never know, it may be a profitable way to move more of the tax-free 'political charity' money into all the romney family Mass. state registered corps.
Never enough loot for them |

9. His approval rating when he left the governorship was in the 30s - and it

Last edited Sun Dec 23, 2012, 10:30 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) did not improve as he ran for President. I even doubt that he could beat Brown in the Republican primary - which would be fun to see as both had a tendency for nasty attacks last year.
I suspect that Romney might see being Senator below him at this point. |

10. He absolutely could. He won't, though.
|
1. He'd probably lose.
2. I think he's sick of losing when running for office. He's only won an election once in four tries. (Lost in 1994 for Senate, won in 2002 for governor, lost in 2008 and 2012 for president). |

11. Romney could not win even if he did.
|
Technically he could run but he just lost a state where he was governor by over 20 points and had a approval rating in the 30's when he left.
