China on Traitor Trump - He bears no sense of how to lead a superpower...

Last edited Tue Dec 20, 2016, 12:09 PM - Edit history (1)

BEIJING — China on Tuesday returned a U.S. naval drone seized in the South China Sea last week, a peaceful resolution to a military standoff that threatened to inflame maritime tensions ahead of president-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

<<snip>>

Trump soon weighed-in on the matter, posting a message on Twitter that said: “China steals United States Navy research drone in international waters — rips it out of water and takes it to China in unprecedented act.”

When the Chinese side eventually agreed to return the vessel, Trump weighed in again. “We should tell China that we don’t want the drone they stole back.- let them keep it!” he wrote.

Trump’s response to the drone’s seizure deepened Chinese concerns about the president-elect’s Asia policy. Since winning the U.S. presidential election, he surprised Beijing by taking a phone call from Taiwan’s leader, Tsai Ing-wen, a move that broke with decades of diplomatic practice.

His comments on the Taiwan issue and tweets on the drone’s seizure have made him a figure of derision and ridicule in the Communist Party-controlled press.

“Trump is not behaving as a president who will become master of the White House in a month,” the Global Times, a Communist party controlled newspaper, wrote in an editorial on Sunday. “He bears no sense of how to lead a superpower.”

They may be right in this case, but I am not going to stand with them. The Brits, Canadians, French, Germans, Aussies, Japanese etc on the other hand - I care about what they do say.

talk about unstable despots who served as our proxies.

Bush at least knew enough to pretend to care about diplomacy.

Only figures comparable to the US President are Rodrigo Duterte and Kim Jong Un, both of whom have committed murder while in office.

as a caricature and couldn't imagine how someone like that came to power. Then along came Trump and I didn't have to use my imagination anymore.

even China because what they said about Trump is the truth, and whatever words come out of Trump's filthy mouth are fucking lies. Maybe the way China described the event of the drone isn't completely accurate, or maybe it is, but what they said about Trump I'll agree with every day of the week and ten times on Sunday.
