IMO, no female would have been elected, all the email, FBI, Putin were just excuses.

Trump supporters would repeal the female vote if they get a chance.

The glass ceiling will need to have an election with female candidates only to break it.

it would have been hard for any Dem or any person unwilling to crawl in the pig shit with them to compete.

It will continue to be so until american voters realize they are being played for patsies, so don't hold your breath.

A Democratic strong economic populist woman would have won Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and probably even Florida.

Hillary Clinton carried 30 years of political baggage with her ... fairly or not, is was there. The polls showed it from the moment she announced: people didn't trust her and they didn't like her.

I strongly believe that an Elizabeth Warren or Amy Klobachar or Patty Murray with a strong message would have defeated any Republican nominee.

As the media and other factors worked on the election, Clinton's poll numbers dropped. But after the convention her poll numbers bounced.

A different candidate with the exact same message and strategy would have won.

Clinton's campaign message was much more populist than Trump's, in spite of what the media would have us believe. And she won among those for whom the economy was the top issue. She won among the working class. If a portion of white working class voters have much different expectations or priorities than the working class as a whole, ask yourself why that might be.

Also, the notion that Trump of all people is a populist is batshit crazy. Anyone who believes that Trump is a populist isn't going to be reached by the Democratic Party.

Plenty of votes, just in the wrong states. At some point we're going to have to hold Podesta & Robby Mook accountable. Or we can ignore the fact that they shit the bed and let them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again in 4 years...

This is strong among hate radio and the DNC better start asking this question and design a program to fight it.
