7. So sad, so sad. I won't either.

Pour me another Guinness, DI. Things will be much clearer when the glass is empty.

8. Obama-D victories are due to the weaknesses of his opponents in the primary and general.

2004 IL US Senate-Democratic Primary
Multimillionaire candidate Blair Hull had to deal with the issues involving his ex-wife and Dan Hynes was not that popular with the Move On Crowd. Obama if elected will be the only black member of the US Senate. In the November General Election- both of Obama's Republican opponents- Jack Ryan and Alan Keyes were damaged goods.
2008 US Presidential Election-Democratic Primary.
Hillary and Edwards voted for the Iraq War Resolution.
In the November General Election-McCain-R was seen a third Bush/Cheney term and Palin selection sealed the deal.
2012 US Presidential Election-Mitt Romney-R panders to the Tea Party.

15. Baloney

You can make the same argument about a lot of candidates, including Bill Clinton.
