Once More With Feeling: Arizona Electors Keep The Birther Fight Alive
EVAN MCMORRIS-SANTORO DECEMBER 18, 2012, 6:05 AM
You might think that President Obama’s comfortable reelection last month would put an end to the Republican birther conspiracy. But if you do, you don’t know Arizona Republicans. The latest battle for the movement that believes Barack Obama is ineligible to be President was fought Monday at the state’s Electoral College vote, where a trio of Republican electors — including state GOP chair Tom Morrissey — once again raised concerns that Obama’s birth certificate is a fake during the electoral college vote. They were rebuffed by other Republicans in the room, including Gov. Jan Brewer. National Republicans have also distanced themselves from the birther movement. But in Arizona, the birthers aren’t going quietly, even if they do recognize that they are going. Morrissey, the leader of the Republican Party in Arizona and a former Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal for the state, tried to present his concerns over Obama’s eligibility as something other than birtherism. -snip- http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/12/arizona-electors-birth-certificate-obama.php?ref=fpb

1. Obama derangement syndrome

Or, more accurately, Black-Guy-In-The-White-House syndrome. It's almost funny, except for how it's a symptom of poisonous racism.

Biggest problem the republicraps have.
It's not that he's a democrat. Clinton was heavily reviled by Republicraps, but nothing like Obama has had to endure. It's that Obama is black. The right is heavily populated with racist bigots. Whether they admit it or not, it's the biggest roadblock to getting anything done. It's the biggest reason for the do-nothing congress. They refuse to be dominated or guilded by a black man... and an exceptionally intelligent one at that. Until that culture changes, we won't be able to get meaningful progress made. |

3. Fine. Exert all that futile effort. Exhaust yourselves.

May as well try to scoop the moon's reflection out of a pond, you idiots.
How miserable, pathetic, empty and worthless does a person's life have to be before one adopts this bone-headed worldview? |

That chin looks like two drooping Marmaduke testicles! Glad to see he's just as ugly on the outside.

A dog's backside is easier on the eyes than that, imo.

9. How many electoral votes did Obama win in Arizona?
|
None. So they are arguing something that is irrelevant.
