Rebel against Trump's attack on our Constitution: burn a flag!

Trump once again displayed his contempt for Constitutional rights.

President-elect Donald Trump proposed on Tuesday a penalty -- including possible jail time or loss of citizenship -- for burning the American flag, in spite of two US Supreme Court rulings that protect the act under the First Amendment as a form of free speech.

"Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag -- if they do, there must be consequences -- perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!" Trump tweeted.

The government can't take away a person's citizenship, and flag burning is a demonstration of free speech.

Trump, on the other hand, has demonstrated his total disregard for our country by dealing with Russian oligarchs and other business dealings that make one question his loyalty.

Trump has vowed to take away many of our rights. We need to fight back before it's too late. We should burn flags once a week in defiance. He can't put us all in jail!
