Alter: "Let's Just Assign Newt Gingrich to the Dust Bin of History"

On MSNBC, Jonathan Alter made the very appropriate comment that from this day forward, media channels should agree that Newt Gingrich is not going to be the nominee and should be given no media coverage. Not only has Gingrich implied that President Obama was being racist for making his condolences over Trayvon Martin, but last night, a woman in his audience yelled out that Obama "Is a Muslim", and Gingrich, of course, remained silent.

David Corn aptly compared Gingrich to the Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park that went around spewing poisonous venom. He deserves no more coverage - or attention.

If every outlet (but Fox, of course) just pulled their "embeds", maybe he'd just go away and shut the hell up.

Nice as that would be, when have you ever politely asked a tapeworm to stop sucking you dry and have it listen? Or ask a bedbug to leave your house? Parasites think they have a 'right' to feed on us.
