Palast- By my initial calculation, 9.3 million Americans lost their vote on November 7

Palast is looking for donations. I think it's worth posting. He's done some great investigative work.

By my initial calculation, 9.3 million Americans lost their vote on November 7 – purged from voter rolls, blocked at the polls, or had their “provisional” and absentee ballots thrown in the dumpster.

Let’s get to the bottom of this: In the next 90 days, we need to name names, expose their games, and make sure things don’t stay the same.

Just because Mr. Obama won re-election doesn’t mean the vote-heist didn’t happen. This is no joke: the evidence suggests the GOP actually lost the majority of Congressional races. But, through sick tricks in Arizona and three other states, snatched enough seats to hang our economy over a fiscal cliff.

Got that. But we won't get help from the media on this. It doesn't pay PR for the GOP. freshwest Dec 2012 #1

what so many of us apparently choose not to think about. Our winning margin was
in reality a whole lot bigger. And the GOP is definitely able, willing and determined
to do it again in EVERY election. They work hard at cheating, and we work hard
at preferring not to see, and to forget. Perfect partners!! A sadist and a masochist.
It's just that one of them has a shortened life-expectancy!!

thrown out, many of which were voter error. Not signed and that sort of thing, but still, way too many for far less reasons were throw out. I'll never vote Absentee ballot again.

The party nows fairly quickly. It dawned on me when they kept calling and knocking on my door asking about my sons absentee ballot which he had not mailed yet. Some comfort knowing my vote on the scary machine went through.

states like Oregon voting is so organized never any complaints and they vote by mail..Now how easy is that?
...But the vote theft was probably calculated by the Rove gang ..A reason Rove was so surprised by the Ohio returns and why-Romney had his cabinet chosen already....

Here in Indiana a voter can check to see on the internet if their ballot was received by the office. I'm not sure of the process to make it happen for ballot issues but probably not that complicated. I'm guessing use a barcode scanner.

Is Holder as useless as I think he is.. ?
Or is the fact that reasonable people just don’t like to stir the straw?
That they feel that Repukes will get the message and change naturally...?

I was wondering what the numbers would turn out to be. What a mess, we got lucky this time. Greg Palast is doing good work here, and I hope many people donate to help him out!

Also--wow when I google 'stolen election' there are countless articles about Republicans claiming 2012 was stolen from them Naturally this obfuscation is to twist and cover up the real issue. Twisting the issue to be about voter fraud enables states to put more restrictions on polling places, putting the burden on the citizenry to prove themselves worthy. Election fraud focuses on the faults in the system that have evolved since 2000.

We cannot allow the Republicans to derail this issue! Some more articles on election reform:

I went to vote early and found out the next day(my daughter was told when she went in to vote) I had been taken off the checklist... if not for the fact I live in a small town, I would never have found out and my vote would not have counted (and I live in a voter friendly state!!)

Voter purge is serious and we must keep on it
