SNL's campaign special: what did Tom Brokaw mean when at the end

he gruffly said if you don't like the vote result tomorrow, "that's your problem"?

It just seemed like an odd way to end a comedy show.

It was just a different way to say the old adage, if you don't vote, don't complain.
