1. It always has been, due to the fact that it is unmoderated.
|
The pukes swarm sites that are un- or poorly moderated. Here in Seattle, we had two mainstream papers, the Times, and the Post-Intelligencer (the paper edition of the PI is no more, but it still exists online). The Times is a right-wing paper, and the PI leaned left. You'll see right-wingers constantly trolling the threads on the PI site. They particularly love sites that they assume are for liberals and Democrats, but aren't actively moderated.

6. The polls aren't nearly as bad, for some reason

They tend to lean Dem. But the comment section is filled with nasty, senile, bat shit retirees living off social security while raving about socialism.

5. Worse than that

It's filled with the birther, nut job, racists who wouldn't last a day on Red State before being banned. They are the dregs of humanity and even the dregs of the GOP.

and after it seemed to thin out a bit. I remember seeing a con saying people who are unemployed should be more proactive. I replied that being more proctive in the face of a severe lack of employment will not work. He meant don't blame the industry but blame the workers (The got mine shit).

It creates opportunities to make responses that point out their ignorance and stupidity.
