I also believe that the repukes will be holding the bag for this, and blamed for all the suffering that it may cause. This last election was eye opening to the public
They found out how the republican party really feels about women and minorities. They see exactly what they have been doing the last four years, obstructing everything to try and sabotage the economy.
In spite of the MSM, as long as the Democrats do not back down, not only will we come out ahead, but the country will be saved from a corporate takeover of our country

We'll see.
I perceive Obama meeting with Boehner privately as a good sign.
No progress will have serious economic effects, and Boehner is aware that the Republicans will be blamed for the totally self-inflicted consequences.
