He's stopped combing his hair.

Which raises the question, would he have combed his hair as President?

1. I thought his hair was molded plastic, didn't think it was messable.

3. I think he looks better now and if he had had this "average Joe" look during the

campaign, it might have helped him get more votes. Not many, but some more.

4. I Didn't Like Him.

However, things are done, kicking this guy when he is down isn't for me.
Al Gore grew a beard after the elections.

I'll leave this guy to his grief. To me, posting these things just perpetuate matters and brings him to tabloid fodder like Palin. We are just finally having less and less of her, which is to me a good thing. I don't want him as a replacement.

I'm inclined to leave him his privacy.

Either way, this is not a big issue for me. I don't mind either.

I guess, carry on.

7. I don't think Mittens will be a media hog like Palin.

For her it was all about the attention. Although she is finally starting to fade back into the obscurity of the Alaska wilderness whence she came (and not a minute too soon), every now and then she pops up like a Whack-A-Mole and hollers, "Look at MEEEE!" - and the stupid media cluster around her, as if she had something even slightly meaningful to say. Romney wasn't into the publicity; he just wanted power and money. He has plenty of money but he missed out on the big-time power thing - too bad. So I don't think we'll see him as a Faux "News" bloviator or a blogger or a Tweeter. He'll just go back to being a private equity parasite and keep the money rolling in.

8. You're probably right.

However, for some, they are not given a choice since they become Paparazzi magnets.

Either way, as for being a private equity parasite, that is definitely the case. He doesn't need to work any how.

12. Ann and Mitt won't be paparazzi magnets for very long

because they really aren't very interesting (which was one of Mitt's problems in the first place). For awhile we'll see tweets like, "I just saw Mitt Romney at Walgreen's buying Maalox and Preparation H!" and photographers will take pictures of them as they stroll around in public pretending to be just normal folks, but after a little time - I'll bet within a year - the media and the tweeters won't pay them any attention at all.

10. I agree with what you said, but i also...

Believe that Romney is not going to be the Fox news puppet to trash the next 4 years of Obama. One thing for sure the GOP and Conservatuve pundits quickly threw him under the bus after the election. He is not interested in saving his party. He could feel betrayed by them.

11. As far as the GOPers are concerned, he's like Bush -

someone they want to disavow - sort of like how the old Soviet Union would airbrush out-of-favor people out of photographs and never mention them again.

16. I've lost elections

it sucks, seriously.

you do get depressed, and absolutely didn't shave a bit myself.

I have the guy as much as anyone else here, and don't have much patience with Queen Anne's high horse BS. But, if Romney is keeping low and not throwing bombs publicly, no reason to pile on while he starts to work through it.

Which is why I don't feel like piling on, on the guy.
Not that I mind much but... Oh well.

18. Top Ten Things Willard's Thinking:

1. Why is everyone avoiding me?

2. Must call accountant to amend 2011's return.

3. Defriend Meatloaf.

4. Cancel order to replace Statue of Freedom with Angel Moroni on top of Capitol.

5. Send Ann to the Cayman's - her wailing and bitching is driving me nuts.

6. I hope you people can cash a c-note.

7. No close-ups, please. All that hair gel gave me a hellacious case of dandruff.

8. The new Audi runs better than the Caddy.

9. Shouldn't have used Boy's Life jokes during campaign.

10. Being unemployed sucks. It really sucks.
