1. Dave Wasserman says he is almost certain to hit 51%

I asked him if it is likely the president's margin will reach 5 million votes...will let you know what he says.

2. I am just amazed that the president has gained 2 million votes since election day.

Sure makes one wonder about those 2000 and 2004 totals and results.

Maybe they should have the election a week or two earlier to make they have time to count the votes properly.

6. John Heileman made a point of this today on Morning Joe.

He said these rising numbers of votes give Obama more of a mandate in his negotiations with Boehner. But of course, Joe Scar wasn't there today so the panel was "off the leash."

11. What states are still counting votes and why?

States that are still counting should really rethink their voting process. I thought my state (AZ) was bad but we finished two weeks ago.
