As Charles Pierce (@ESQPolitics) documents, MSNBC's Martin Bashir is one of the worst atrocities on TV http://is.gd/sm5frS (via @GregMitch)

12. Martin Bashir is

brilliant. I doubt he gives two shits about what that tool says. Anyway, he'd just burn him when given the opportunity.

3. Could someone just tell us?

I dislike 'blind' OPs that provide no details.

6. That is one of my biggest peeves with posts.

I'm not going to waste time checking something out if I don't have a clue what it is really about.

It's not that difficult to post the relevant info and then (THEN) provide the source.

13. People who can't stand Greenwald but can't come up with arguments against him...

are forced to avoid the issue at hand.

7. I actually wish Martin wouldn't respond. It can only serve to raise GG's profile, and lower....

Martin's. Little insignificant assholes like GG like to attack popular people because it gets their name out there. Bashir doesn't need to give GG free publicity. I hope he completely ignores his raunchy ass, it'll hurt him more if high profile anchors don't even speak his fuckin' name.

People like GG and Donald Trump like to pick fights. They don't care if the PR is negative, they're afraid that people might actually forget they even exist.

10. yes you are right.

we do know that Bashir could rip that little turd apart with the fine vocabulary and exquisite snark he has.

so that's good enough for me.

11. This is what I call a "lazy thread"

In a thread that the OP does not say why person A attacks person B, we have a lazy thread.

Lazy threads inevitably result in comments about how much the "attacker" sucks, while ignoring the what, when and where of the "attack".

Thumbs down for emptiness.

15. Pierce barely attacks Bashir in that article.

Sounds like GG just wants to get a shot in at someone he dislikes with some "YEAH YEAH" peanut gallery crap.

16. So because Martin Bashir had people on his program that Glen Greenwald disagrees with, his show

is somehow an "atrocity"? Really? Bashir is one of the best hosts on MSNBC. He fearlessly attacks Repubs in an intelligent way. He always explains clearly and thoroughly why he disagrees with conservatives and suffers no fools in the process. Bashir had on some people to discuss the drone program but they weren't Glen Greenwald. Oh no. How dare he. I don't dislike every view Greenwald has be he has has shown himself to be pretty much a jerk, over the years. Also, very one note.
