1. Does not matter what The House thinks. It is The Senate that votes on appointments.

Constitutional provision

Article II, Section 2, paragraph 2 of the United States Constitution states:

(The President) shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

2. House republicans are

Just a pack of feces-flinging shrieking monkeys. Best response is to point at them and laugh.

4. If the repukes in the Senate don't approve her then Obama should finish the job by

issuing an executive order and bypass the decision entirely.

5. Apparently the Republicans have not yet learned their lesson.

Slow learners one and all. McCain and Graham use coded language about "incompetence" and now House Republicans double down on it. You know that if Susan Rice were a white male the response would be much different. And if Rice had gone beyond the CIA talking points and put her own spin on things they would have criticized her for that.
