Barber strengthens lead over McSally (Gabby Giffords' seat)

Pima County Elections is still counting ballots and expects to continue counting through the weekend.

Pima County counted more than 10,700 ballots Friday.

The Congressional District 2 race has still not been called. Democrat Ron Barber is leading Republican Martha McSally by 1,402 votes.

Tucson's proposition 409 is also undecided. The $100 million city street repair bond is currently passing by 583 votes.

Martha McSally (R): 141,771

4. This is Especially Great to see because on Election night

and the next day..I seem to remember McSally was ahead.. and I was thinking Gabby's Seat was going to a Con.

I don't know how many uncounted votes are left in CD 2 but, countywide, the SOS website shows 140 early ballots and 26,000 provisional.

7. Barber has been in the lead for over a week now :)

Hopefully he will stay in the lead - it would be awful if Gabby's seat ended up red.
