My mother has a good theory about McCain

I called her during lunch.

She thinks McCain was promised SoS or another high-ranking Cabinet post in the Romney Administration, and between that and losing in 2008, he is having a meltdown.

I think it's not a bad theory.

36. Ain't that the truth! First we threw his bony butt out of the CT Dem Party and most folks in

CT hadn't caught on as we progressives had, so they voted him in as an Independent. And then he wreaked havoc on the Dem Party and the entire country. His fit of pique cost us all a LOT by preventing discussion of the Public Option on health care. The guy is a criminal in my book!

Now the voters in CT know better. They know all about Traitor Joe...

One thing we can bank on is that he won't return to CT. He'll find himself a nice cushy spot in D.C. so his wife can continue her lobbying duties for the insurance industry...

38. Lots of very good people care about the Jewish community and Israel. My husband for one.

My granddaughters also. Joe is hardly a hero in their books just because he is Jewish. I am in a very Jewish neighborhood bordering on his old neighborhood and the sentiment has changed. We are an extremely liberal/progressive community and we have have some very devout Orthodox families who walk to shull on my street every Saturday morning. They were in Joe's congregation and some knew him well. But they are no longer supportive of him. He sold out and they know it.

I think bringing Joe's religion into it is misleading and doesn't accurately reflect opinions in the Jewish community, one that knows him well and used to support him.

Just a few facts that not a lot of people outside of our little area of New Haven would know about...

39. I didn't mean to offend you or your family. I am a supporter of a Jewish Nation.

It's just something about him I feel he sold out many people. That is what I observe it isn't meant has a hit on the Jewish community. He could be a catholic and I would still feel the same way. It's all about what is good for Joe.

40. Oh, I'm not offended. Please, don't worry about that!

I just wanted folks to know that Joe's popularity is at a real low here in CT and many of his former Jewish supporters now can't stand him. Once he sold his house here in the Westville section of town he just deserted CT and everything we used to like him for. A real Traitor!

So he has to produce his own drama!

He is like a little kid yelling, "Look at me! Look at me!".

would pass out. His parents would throw him in a cold tub of water.

He needs the cold water treatment again. But then we might get to see him pass out on live TV.

Obama over Benghazi. And now it is all blowing up in their faces and that plus the disappointment of losing so badly in 2012 is more than they can bear. Poor babies.

13. He is just a bitter old man.

He lost the election in 2008. He felt he paid his dues for so many years and here comes a young black junior senator who beat him.
At this point, the republican party is so unpopular, they have nothing to truly run on except confuse the issues and hope they can win voters over convincing the people Obama Administration cannot be trusted. So far, thank god, it hasn't worked. But, it looks like they are not done trying.

30. His bitterness is misdirected - he should be bitter at the GOP for denying him the nomination in

2000 and at Bush for making 2008 such a steep climb for him. In 2000, McCain was younger and a better candidate, it was a much friendlier year for the GOP, and McCain probably would have beaten Gore handidly in the general - but the GOP establishment gave it to Bush, who went on to make 2008 - the year the nod was finally given to McCain - basically a suicide mission for any Republican.

It basically says that since he's been term limited out of being the senior pub at Armed Services Committee, he's looking for a new gig in January and a new committee would fit the bill.

33. We need to help McCain more in attaining that meltdown.

Remind McCain that he failed to get that cabinet position in the Romney administration that was promised him.

Push this on your FaceBook or better yet use Twitter to spread it every time you have a chance. Anytime McCain appears on a show tag something about McCain not getting a Romney cabinet position in a tweet.

Make sure you use a hashtag in the message so it is identified easy when a search is made. Something like #McCain_DefenseScty

34. I think it's the writing on the wall

President Obama being re-elected has changed everything from now on. If he had been beaten by the white man President Obama would be explained away as a slight fluke and it would have taken another half dozen elections before a black man or woman would be elected to the Presidency.

The fact that he was not only re-elected, but was re-elected big is what's killing white men like McCain. They know they've lost their historical power over 'minorities'. They know they're the new shrinking minority now. And they can't stand it. Just like they can't stand this country not kicking ass in wars. They think that's the only thing that makes us great. Wars. White men like McCain live and breath their patriotism as warmongers. It's what being an American means to them.
