Should GOP/Tennessee congressman DesJarlais resign? Vote at the link below.

Early days yet, but the poll offered by the Chattanooga Times Free Press is 6 to 1 in favor of resignation. "According to Republican state Senate Speaker Ron Ramsey, the congressman's political life could be endangered in 2014. Asked before Thursday's disclosures how many Republican senators he expects might challenge DesJarlais in the 4th District primary, Ramsey quipped, "How many live in it?"

Y'all stay tuned for DesJarlais' tearful, come-to-Jesus press conference. Tennessee's state medical board is investigating DesJarlais' admissions (under oath in a divorce proceeding) of sex with multiple patients.

1. Of course he should. But he won't.

Especially now that he's got Jesus on his side. Now he's fuckin' righteous!

2. He is a poster child for Republicans in Congress.

Sex with patients should make a good case for pulling his medical license.

3. Yes, he should resign. But, he won't. GOP bad boy behavior in Tennessee!

Who would've thought that could happen?
