The argument that Democrats failed the inner cities that Sharpton is making needs to b

used by Hillary really hard. People need to know that State houses (governors) pull the purse strings for cities and towns in their states. Take Kansas for example. The failures have been that when blacks are elected to mayoral posts and Counsel posts the money is usually cut by those above (Ferguson example). Minority voters MUST turn their attention to state and local elections in addition to Presidential elections if they want to see real change that benefits them.

funds cut. Do you mean education funds?

Voters need to turn their attention to state house and senate members and the governor's office.

Your post makes little sense. Perhaps you read the memo wrong.

ETA: I see that you only do drive-by OPs. Obvious is obvious.

Always thinking that someone is trolling and is really a RWinger. I understood what the OP was trying to say. The right likes to say that Liberals and Democrats have destroyed our cities and urban areas because they have been in charge of them for the last 50 years. The OP was stating that Sharpton spoke about the real reason which was Republican governors at the State level not giving them funding. GEEZ!

and then following up with a comment about Ferguson (near St. Louis MO) is not good geography.

Kansas and Missouri are much different states demographically speaking. Have been since they were admitted to the union.
