Buffalo News Editorial: Clinton for President 2016
Clinton has the leadership to be president
We’ve barely finished a bruising, expensive campaign for president, but it’s not too early to be thinking about who would make an excellent candidate for the presidency in 2016 – particularly if there is a conspicuously capable individual already on the political scene. There is such a candidate, and it should surprise no one that her name is Hillary Clinton. She would bring vastly more leadership, experience and judgment to the White House, compared with its current occupant. Her talent was recognized early. When she and Bill graduated from Yale Law School, it was Hillary the top law firms and political organizations wanted. -snip- more http://buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121113/OPINION/121119774/1074

3. NFL analogy. Let's just stick to winning the next game.

Sure 2016. Yes, absolutely Hillary & Bill too. But there are a lot of obstacles between here and there. And in order to get there, we need to win as many of the battles coming up as we can.
Focus. Focus. Focus. |

Endorsing Hillary by attacking Obama? I will pass! They are going to need Obama's ground game and turnout machine in 2016 regardless of the nominee. Obama has done it the best, maybe we shouldn't insult him if we want to win?

5. It IS too early to be talking about 2016

President Obama just won re-election exactly a week ago. Can he at least take the oath of office again before everyone starts talking about who is going to replace him?

8. We're talking about 2016 ALREADY!?
|
I don't even know if Hillary is going to want to run. I will say, however, that if it comes down to a primary between Hillary and Joe Biden, I might have to chose Joe Biden. He fought in the trenches when times were tough for Democrats for the past several years and deserves a lot of credit. Who doesn't love Joe Biden!?

Nope.
Love my local paper but really wish we could have a break to you know... solve the problems at hand before the next election. |

I don't even want to think about the next presidential election right now but I can assure you that Hillary will NOT be the candidate I'll be supporting when the time comes.
