West backers say $21 million is just not enough
WASHINGTON — After raising more than $21 million for what appears to be a losing re-election campaign, embattled Congressman Allen West and those who back him are still rounding up money to try to hang on to his seat.
Congressman Allen West
“Allen West just won’t quit!” the conservative group Revive America declares in a fund-raising solicitation. “We need to immediately begin to run radio ads and online media in Florida to help support Allen West.”
The group notes that “unlike political campaigns, there is no limit on how much or how often you can donate” for the recount drive.
West, a tea party favorite from Palm Beach Gardens, demands a full recount after an official tally put him behind Democrat Patrick Murphy by a little less than 2,000 votes.

7. When Allen West is finally certified as the loser
How many bets that he will suddenly have the funds to buy himself a nice big McMansion down there in Florida?
