Related: About this forumAgenda 21 conspiracy embraced by GA legislator
An interesting email came out from Brian Long of a "Better Georgia" today:
Majority Leader Chip Rogers recently hosted a meeting for Georgia's GOP senators. He held the meeting under the Gold Dome to talk about Pres. Obamas war on the suburbs.
Among the alleged co-conspirators in this war: the Georgia Chamber, the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Urban Land Institute.
...why are these civic groups on Majority Leader Rogers enemies list?
The quick answer: the United Nations is using Soviet-era mind control techniques to take over the U.S. through these regional groups.
Go ahead and laugh now. We did, too, when we first heard the conspiracy theory about Agenda 21... (snip)

SO, is Agenda 21 officially the conspiracy theory of choice for the GOP?

(36 posts)My bible thumping sister is all hot and heavy on this Agenda 21 deal right now after her cult church showed some movie on it. Where can I get info on what the crazies are watching and believing and info to counter the crazy? I did a quick search on google and it says agenda 21 is about combating poverty and promoting the preservation of indigenous societies. How did they possibly decide this is a bad thing?
